Story Line

Bhuj The Pride of India is a film based on true events. Whose story is based on the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, in which Ajay Devgan is in the role of Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of Bhuj airport. During this war Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik was present with his team at Bhuj Airport, where the airstrip was destroyed. During this, Bari bombing was being done from Pakistan side. At this time, 50 Air Force and 60 Defense Security people were present with him at the airbase. Vijay Karnik and his team remodeled the runway with the help of women from the area. He remodeled it along with 300 women from the area so that flights carrying Indian Army personnel could land easily there.
